Java Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Java Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our clients' applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access tools.
  • Maintain and improve existing applications, including debugging, troubleshooting, and implementing new features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and code comments.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on Java development.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of banking/financial services and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with OpenShift and REST API.
