Senior Data Science Engineer for AI/ML Solutions

As a Senior Data Science Engineer for AI/ML Solutions at Orange Polska, you will be part of a dedicated team of 30 experts working on a variety of projects supporting our branches in Poland and other European countries.

With a strong background in machine learning and MLOps, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and systems at scale. Your expertise in working with large amounts of data in an operational environment will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop machine learning models and systems at scale
  • Collaborate with data scientists and business entities to build and enhance models, providing guidance on modeling techniques and best practices
  • Implement automated monitoring and alerting systems for model performance and data drift
  • Optimize and automate machine learning workflows to improve performance and efficiency
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into our products and services

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning and MLOps
  • Strong expertise in Python libraries and frameworks for building predictive models (e.g. scikit-learn, xgboost, tensorflow, pytorch)
  • Good knowledge of SQL databases
  • Experience in working with Linux and Git version control system
  • Strong statistical and quantitative analysis skills
  • Higher education in Computer Science, Mathematics / Statistics, Telecommunications or related
  • Knowledge of English at a level allowing for communication and preparation of technical documentation

Salary: PLN 120,000 - 180,000 per year ( approximately USD 28,000 - 42,000)
