Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering practices and standards, with expertise in ETL tools (Talend, Alteryx) and data modeling techniques (Data Vault).
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate business needs and objectives to develop robust and maintainable data pipelines
- Analyze and organize raw data ingestion pipelines to ensure data quality and reliability
- Support senior stakeholders in defining new data product use cases and their value
- Take ownership of data product pipelines and their maintenance, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability, maintaining the 'Quality Gatekeeper' role for developed data products
Requirements
- Expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, ETL, dbt, Talend
- Experience with agile methodologies in software development and DevOps/DataOps practices (CI/CD, GitLab, DataOps.live)
- Strong understanding of data transformation tools like DBT and experience with lifecycle management of data products
- Knowledge of Data Mesh and FAIR principles
- At least 2-3 years of DB/ETL development experience with Talend and DBT
