Software Engineering Role

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team. As a full-stack developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing features from inception to deployment using Java and TypeScript.

You will work on both standalone services and React apps running on the Dynatrace Hub. Your mission will be to advance our product and strengthen our position as a leader in software observability.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with React or a comparable framework, solid understanding of the Node ecosystem, and comprehensive knowledge of server-client communication and browsers.

A degree in Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience is required. The selected candidate will also contribute to advancing our product through code reviews and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Java Programming: Required expertise in Java programming language, including design patterns, data structures, and web architecture.
  • TypeScript and React: Proficiency in TypeScript and React, with hands-on experience in building scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Node Ecosystem: Solid understanding of the Node ecosystem, including its strengths and weaknesses.
  • Server-Client Communication: Comprehensive knowledge of server-client communication protocols, including HTTP, WebSockets, and WebSocket APIs.
  • Browsers and Web Development: Familiarity with modern web browsers, including their features, limitations, and debugging tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
