Innovation Managers play a vital role in driving business creation and growth through strategic innovation initiatives. As an Innovation Manager for the EIT Higher Education Initiative, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating projects that support the development of innovative solutions. Your expertise in business development, innovation management, and project management will enable you to strengthen the initiative's support of business creation in projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute innovation and business creation knowledge and expertise to the EIT Higher Education Initiative programme.
- Lead the design, development, and coordination of trainings, activities, and opportunities that support project partners and community members with the research-to-market process.
- Provide support to Project Officers and project partners with the successful delivery of their Core KPI targets.
- Oversee and support the management and implementation of funded projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Engage with and support project partners through regular communication and meetings.
Requirements:
This role requires experience in business development, innovation management, and/or technology transfer, particularly in academic or research-driven environments. You should have project management experience in international, multi-cultural settings. A master's-level degree in areas related to innovation management, business management, intellectual property law, or related fields is preferred. Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property management, licencing, and commercialisation is also required.
