Product Owner

We are looking for a skilled Product Owner to join our team. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and delivering high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a foundational service that enhances security across Tesco by ensuring colleagues have the appropriate level of access to data and actions. You will work closely with stakeholders across domains to understand access control needs and translate them into scalable, secure API solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the product strategy and execution for CRS: Ensure alignment with Tesco's broader access management and security goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Across domains to understand access control needs and translate them into scalable, secure API solutions.
  • Build deep domain knowledge: Of colleague data and access management and assess new opportunities through research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead sprint and release planning: With engineering teams to deliver maximum business value efficiently.
  • Drive discovery and validation: Of minimum viable products (MVPs) for new features, ensuring alignment with user needs and compliance requirements.
  • Break down complex initiatives: Into epics and stories, enabling incremental value delivery.
  • Provide leadership and direction: To cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity on short-term priorities and long-term vision.
Requirements
  • Tools: Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience with digital product development.
  • Additionally: Strong communication skills, ability to work in small teams, international projects experience, private healthcare, free coffee, canteen, bike parking, playroom, free parking, modern office, startup atmosphere, no dress code.
