Lead Software Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Software Developer to spearhead a high-impact project in the cloud. This role demands technical leadership, vision, and strong programming skills.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Python, particularly with FastAPI, Pydantic, Pandas, and Polars. Strong expertise in asynchronous programming using asyncio is also essential. MongoDB, Parquet, Delta Tables, and diverse data formats are other key areas of focus.

A highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills is required. Self-management, task prioritization, and meeting tight deadlines are crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical direction and leadership of the development team
  • Design and implementation of scalable cloud-based architecture
  • Maintenance of high code quality across the platform
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of commercial experience in Python development
  • Hands-on expertise with FastAPI, Pydantic, Pandas, and Polars
  • Strong knowledge of asynchronous/parallel programming with asyncio
  • Experience with MongoDB, Parquet, Delta Tables, and handling diverse data formats
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in self-management, task prioritization, and working under tight deadlines

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Professional experience with Azure Cloud services (Service Bus, Data Lake, Blob Storage, Redis)
  • Familiarity with .NET technologies, Spark/PySpark, and Databricks
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
