About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux systems, cloud environments, and automation tools.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about building and maintaining large-scale systems, collaborating with a world-class team, and working in a fully remote role.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Linux system lifecycle, proficiency in Python and bash, and experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Puppet.

They will also be able to build and maintain observability systems that provide visibility into system health, performance, and failures across hundreds of servers.

A deep troubleshooting skill set is required for debugging performance issues, hung processes, and misconfigured services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain configuration of hundreds of physical and virtual servers as well as containerized systems.
  • Provision new hardware.
  • Build and maintain a suite of tools used in the management of the IT infrastructure.
  • Participate in migration projects that modernize the DevOps tooling and infrastructure.
  • Support production issues, including root-cause analysis and diagnosis.

We are looking for a candidate who is curious, open-minded, and desires to learn new things. They should prioritize automation, code their own tools, and understand the value of observability.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python and bash.
  • Experience in at least one cloud environment.
  • Experience using infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Puppet.
  • Strong understanding of the Linux system lifecycle.
  • Ability to build and maintain observability systems.
  • Deep troubleshooting skills.

Previous experience in FinTech, Kubernetes, or software development is a plus.
