About the Job
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Controlling & Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ongoing controlling support for our Technology Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends in order to make informed business decisions.
- Prepare various financial analyses, including cost analysis, over/under absorption, and provision calculations, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Report actuals and provide detailed information to stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions.
- Provide project cost control and explain deviations from budget or forecast, ensuring timely communication of significant issues.
- Governance over process of R&D and order-related costs collection, including issuing purchase orders for external services, validating and coding invoices, and charging out costs.
- Support preparation of relevant organizational financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as validate accuracy of financial data and business information.
- Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings and analysis.
- Ensure that reporting and controlling are conducted in accordance with Company policies, tax regulations, and SOX requirements.
- Request hedging transactions and review financial baseline with relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze variances from budget and/or forecast and communicate significant issues in a timely manner.
- Drive completion of budget and forecast processes through communication with various stakeholders within department and finance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
- Understanding of end-to-end process, systems, and data flows across organization at business and finance side.
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
- Good problem-solving, analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks.
- Exposure to SAP systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint is required.
