Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Management, or a related discipline. An MBA, Master’s in Technology Management, or comparable strategic qualification is a strong plus. 8+ years of professional experience with a mix of technology and business roles—e.g., strategy consulting, product management, innovation labs, corporate development. Proven track record of setting strategy and driving it through organizational complexity. Deep familiarity with the current AI landscape—generative models, large language models, robotic process automation, multi-agent orchestration, reinforcement learning, etc. Able to speak credibly about architectures, limitations, and emerging capabilities without needing to code. Exceptional analytical acumen: able to synthesize diverse inputs (market data, customer insight, technical feasibility, financial modeling) into crisp, actionable recommendations. Creative business modeling: capable of conceiving new products, services, or operating models enabled by AI, articulating their value propositions, and sketching out high-level go-to-market or monetization approaches. Executive presence and influence: comfortable briefing and persuading C-suite executives and boards; able to translate complex technical nuance into business language and build alignment across diverse stakeholders. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to lead workshops, author white papers or strategy decks, and speak at industry forums. Preferred Skills: Prior experience in a strategic role at an AI-focused startup, innovation hub, or corporate AI center of excellence. Exposure to multiple industries, enabling cross-pollination of ideas and approaches. A network of contacts in the AI ecosystem—academics, entrepreneurs, investors, and practitioners—for inspiration and partnership. Familiarity with ethics frameworks, regulatory landscapes, and best practices for responsible AI adoption and governance. Comfort with agile strategy practices: iterative roadmapping, lean experimentation, and rapid learning cycles. As an AI Strategist, you stand at the crossroads of technology and business, defining how artificial intelligence will serve and accelerate organisation’s vision. You’ll partner with executive leadership to ensure that AI isn’t just a technical capability but an integral part of strategic positioning and competitive differentiation. Translate that vision into a multi-year roadmap for GenAI, automation, multi-agent systems, and related AI initiatives., Perform ongoing market scan and technology trend analysis: identify the breakthroughs, platforms, and business models that will disrupt our industry or open new opportunity spaces; brief stakeholders on their implications., Prioritize and sequence AI investments and projects based on business value, technical readiness, risk, and synergy with existing efforts.
