Must-Haves:

  • Good communication skills in English
  • 5+/8+ years of experience in C++, STL, skills in both structural and OO programming, concepts, data structures, patterns, templates, multithreaded programming
  • Good knowledge of databases (MS SQL Server preferred) and basic SQL
  • Experience with Distributed Systems and network programming
  • Good debugging skills, and ability to understand large codebase

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Finance background, particularly in Fixed Income
  • Experience with Perl and shell scripting
  • Good knowledge of communication protocol fundamentals 
  • Experience in developing high-throughput, low-latency, and resilient software.
  • Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript programming.

We are hiring Senior C++ Developers to join remotely the international team of the US financial technology company that builds electronic marketplaces for trading fixed-income products, ETFs, and derivatives. You would join them in building and maintaining backend servers used for real-time trading applications. The financial industry experience is only a nice-to-have, and you will receive the needed guidance and knowledge to start working with the fixed income trading applications.

Job Details:

  • Working hours:
    • Option 1: Polish (CET) standard working hours
    • Option 2: 6 hours overlap with the US team in Eastern Time zone (ET). For example, if you are based in Poland, a start time of noon or later (Poland time) would be ideal. Initially, this overlap is important, but flexibility may increase as the candidate becomes more familiar with the system and more independent in handling projects.
