Engineering Manager @

Ideally, you will have:

• Proven experience leading high-performing engineering teams in a fast-growth environment in a SaaS model, making strategic decisions and fostering continuous improvements
• Strong technical background: practical experience in the technical side of the software development process, good knowledge of the following tech stack: JAVA, SpringBoot, React, Ruby
• Experience with progressive agile methodologies -  a proven track record of building an agile environment around people that encourages autonomy, teamwork, and innovation
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability in decision-making, ensuring follow-through on collective decisions and learning from both successes and failures
• History of empowering team members - encouraging autonomy, innovation, and creativity within established guidelines
  Strong communication skills with a track record of providing regular updates on team outcomes and acting as an ambassador for company and engineering values

About the role

An Engineering Manager at Duco leads one of our cross functional, empowered engineering teams, owning the delivery of the functionality that ensures our platform continues to meet, and ultimately exceeds, the needs of our customers. Reporting to a Director of Engineering, you will lead the Standard recon team - developing our enterprise scale cash reconciliations product & growing it's uptake within the wider Duco platform.
