Expertise in one or more general purpose programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, C#, Python or Ruby. 1+ years of experience building and operating microservices-oriented infrastructure in the cloud (AWS preferred). Experience with containerization tools and building/running Kubernetes clusters. Experience designing and implementing infrastructure with attention to API design, scalability, performance, and observability. Strong skills in designing and implementing well-instrumented, well-documented, and future-ready solutions. Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and technologies is a plus The Infrastructure team provides a platform that reduces cognitive load for developers across Remitly. We deliver a high-velocity, low-friction environment for engineers throughout all stages of the SDLC. Our team builds self-service capabilities, embedding observability, compliance, security, and operational excellence into paved pathways, while also providing guardrails for product teams. You will report to the local manager and be part of the Developer Platform organization, which includes teams such as SRE, Developer Experience (DEVX), and Data.
