Senior Quality Engineer

Skills and experience  Extensive experience with Java for test automation Expert in designing and implementing automated tests using Selenium and Cucumber, nice to have experience with Selenide Strong background in manual testing, including regression, smoke, and exploratory testing Proven track record of working in CI/CD environments (e.g. GitLab pipelines, Docker, Jenkins) Deep understanding of test automation strategies and best practices for web applications Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as Gatling and Lighthouse Skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and robust test frameworks Strong knowledge of software quality principles, Agile methodologies, and continuous testing practices Significant experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Excellent command of English (written and spoken) Nice to have Experience with contract testing tools such as Pact Familiarity with Allure Report for advanced test result visualisation Exposure to performance monitoring and observability tools Experience with mocking and service virtualisation tools Knowledge of test case management systems and test reporting/metrics tracking Understanding of accessibility testing tools and techniques Previous experience in retail or e-commerce environments Who we are and what we create?   We’re Kingfisher, a team made up of over 74,000 passionate people who bring Kingfisher - and all our other brands: Castorama, B&Q, Screwfix, Brico Dépôt and Koçtaş - to life. In this role, you will be responsible for both developing and maintaining robust automated test suites as well as carrying out thorough manual testing across our web applications.
