Technical Skills:
- Strong SQL skills – ability to write, optimize, and debug complex queries for data validation and analysis.
- Understanding of database concepts (relational databases, data modeling, normalization).
- Familiarity with DWH concepts such as star/snowflake schema, fact and dimension tables.
- Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing of data-centric applications.
- Knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, TestRail)
- Ability to work with large datasets and identify data quality issues.
- Basic knowledge of automation for data testing (e.g., using Python, SQL scripts, or automation frameworks) is a plus.
Soft Skills & Competencies:
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data validation and defect reporting.
- Analytical mindset for identifying root causes of data inconsistencies.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data engineers.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
- Proactive in raising potential risks and suggesting improvements.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with cloud-based DWH platforms
German language knowledge
