Senior Software Engineer

Key Technologies: Languages & Frameworks: Java 17+,Micronaut, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs Data: PostgreSQL Cloud & Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, Azure CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, SonarQube Testing: Selenium Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, Runscope Version Control: Git + Github You will need 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering high-quality applications. Strong background in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban). Fluent English with clear and concise communication skills. Practical experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar. Proven ability in system design and architecture. Demonstrated experience in owning projects end-to-end and providing technical leadership. Capability to define technical direction and set the vision for a project. Previous involvement in mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers, fostering their technical growth. A proactive, self-driven attitude with a focus on delivering value About the role We are developing a portfolio of systems that form the backbone of a large suite of applications used by Tesco store and office colleagues. These applications aim to replace traditional paperwork and fully digitalize everyday operational tasks, improving efficiency, accuracy, and user experience across the business.
