Solution Architect

7+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or a similar senior technical design role, with a strong focus on data platforms and ideally AI systems/platforms. Proven track record of designing and overseeing integrated solutions across diverse technology landscapes. Familiarity with the AI/ML lifecycle, MLOps, or data governance platforms is highly advantageous. Experience working in a complex, global enterprise environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or other regulated industries. Technical Skills: Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP), microservices, APIs, and scalable data architectures. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system integration patterns, security best practices, and data management. Knowledge of Responsible AI principles, AI ethics, or AI governance frameworks is a significant plus. Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional ability to lead technical discussions, achieve alignment, and influence architectural decisions across cross-functional teams. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges. The Position About the Team & The Opportunity: Join Roche’s AI Governance & Ethics team, where we are pioneering frameworks, platforms, and processes that enable responsible, ethical,  impactful, and trustworthy use of AI across the enterprise.  As a Solution Architect, you will provide strategic guidance and technical leadership for Roche’s AI governance platforms, including the AI Registry. In this influential role, you will ensure technical excellence, enterprise-wide alignment, and scalable integration, directly enabling the trustworthy use of AI to improve patients’ lives.
