You have demonstrable success in engineering management and leadership, with 4+ years managing delivery-focused teams (5-10 people) and 5+ years as a software engineer before that (ideally in e-commerce, B2C, or gaming). You have an experienced understanding of software engineering practices and agile methodologies and can discuss the pros and cons of common approaches - whether it's Angular vs React, monoliths vs microservices, or trunk-based development vs feature branches. You're comfortable with modern stacks (we use Angular, PHP/Symfony, but value broad experience). Your leadership and communication skills enable you to drive clarity and insight across diverse audiences - from engineers deep in technical debt discussions to executives asking about roadmap risks. You can inspire and motivate your team toward shared vision and goals. You can discuss your experiences working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects, sharing both what has worked well and reflecting on what has not. You've improved team velocity without burnout. You've coached engineers through performance issues.
