Highly Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Have): 

  • Experience with the Back-for-frontend (BFF) pattern. 
  • Familiarity with implementing and improving CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps). 
  • Knowledge of specific testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress/Playwright. 
  • Exposure to DevOps technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Helm Charts, or Terraform.  
  • Experience with Storybook for component development and documentation. 
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services. 
  • Experience in developing event-driven and microservices solutions. 
  • Understanding of developing robust, secure software, including exposure to Threat Modeling and tooling such as SonarCloud, DAST, Trivy, or Checkov. 
  • Understanding of API management tools such as Azure APIM, Apigee, or Kong.

About the role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior FullStack developer to help drive the development and delivery of their new platform strategy.

They are undergoing a major transformation as they migrate from legacy technologies to a modern JavaScript-based platform. They need strong engineering leaders who can guide technology teams through this journey.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll report to an Engineering Manager while also actively contributing to their cross-functional teams. You'll be relied on to independently develop and deliver high-quality features and finish tasks to a high standard. You'll focus on extending and improving our high-traffic platform while mentoring engineers around you, assisting in code reviews, hiring, maintaining, and advocating strong development standards.
