What you need to have to succeed in this role
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Production Application Support, demonstrating a strong ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent issues in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in C# and Web API development, with a solid understanding of building and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient backend services.
- Expertise in database design and SQL skills, particularly with SQL Server, including advanced T-SQL scripting, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Comprehensive experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of modern web technologies, including HTML5 and CSS, with the ability to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular 2+, with a focus on building dynamic, interactive, and high-performance web applications.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient resolution of complex technical challenges.

Join HSBC Technology's Collaboration Services team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, where you'll contribute to building innovative solutions that connect internal technology customers with best-in-class tools. This role involves delivering and supporting products across the entire software delivery lifecycle, from inception to ongoing management, while continually enhancing your skills in front-end development, security, testing, and operational support. You'll also work on an engineer-led solution designed to unify various HSBC systems, enabling seamless organizational structure discovery and efficient search across people, applications, and data from a single, user-friendly platform.
