R&D Quality Manager @ Hitachi Energy

The opportunity Are you passionate about driving quality excellence and continuous improvement? Hitachi Energy is seeking a R&D Quality Manager dedicated for SCADA & Engineering Tools Product Line within GPG Automation&Communication to oversee and enhance product development quality practices across our Product Line. In this role, you’ll lead initiatives that ensure compliance with global standards, initiatives related to customer concerns addressing and foster a culture of operational excellence. You’ll be R&D Quality Product Line core team representative in the GPG Automation&Communication Quality organization. You’ll collaborate with product development teams to gather and oversee quality metrics, to drive corrective actions identified to closure, to perform quality assessments, audits, and reviews. Being responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations you’ll have an opportunity to make a lasting impact in a global organization committed to quality. Your Background/Skills A university degree in a technical/quality management or related disciplines Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality or Software Project/Program Management or Software Project Implementation (including at least 2 years in a managerial role) Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to collaborate with technical and business teams  Ability to analyze quality-related data and draw conclusions  Proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements  Ability to coach and develop high-performing teams’ as an individual contributor  Very good English skills, both verbal and written  More about us: We pride ourselves on offering a holistic range of competitive benefits to support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing and personal development.
