Senior Firewall Engineer with Check Point and Python @ CodiLime

Do we have a match? As a Senior Firewall Engineer you should ideally meet the following criteria: Excellent expertise in networks, network security and network platforms Hands-on experience with configuration and troubleshooting of Check Point firewalls Proven track record in customer-facing roles Hands-on scripting in Python Experience with production grade deployments Knowledge of Linux 7+ years of experience in Networks related roles Fluency in English (B2 level minimum) Willingness to learn – you will face challenges that require creativity, individual solutions and teamwork Readiness to work flexible hours (regular meetings with US based customers) Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate: Hands-on experience with other vendors: Cisco (ASA and Firepower), Palo Alto, Fortinet Detailed multi-vendor firewall knowledge and configuration migration experience Firewall vendor certification Experience in deployment and/or maintenance of SASE/SSE solutions (e.g. Palo Alto, ZScaler) Understanding of DevOps tools and practices Hands-on experience with Ansible, Docker, VMWare Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines Understanding of best practices in enterprise network security Get to know us better CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and the first-choice service partner for top global networking hardware providers, software providers and telecoms. Our Engineers support projects with their knowledge of networks and hands-on experience to deliver a working service from start to finish.
