Test Automation Architect @ AVENGA

Test automation knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks, like Selenium, Junit5, Playwright, Rest assured (5 years Minimum)  Testing experience in planning/designing/implementing test activities, defect analysis and management, UI and API testing (5 years minimum) Test automation integration - Experience with integration of testing frameworks/pipelines into existing software processes landscape (5 years minimum) Java application development - Very good understanding of Java/OOP concepts and development of Java applications with Selenium or other java-based frameworks (and java itself)  Database administration - good understanding of relational Datamodel; able to understand/write SQL Queries; optional experience with database administration (ideally PostgreSQL) Knowledge and experience in setting up CI/CD  pipelines, e.g. using Jenkins, Maven, Nexus 1-2 years (Good to have) Communication Skills - Being a communicator and ambassador for thetest strategy that will be established (Must) Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus - Teams are working in the agile groups (analysts,  developers, testers) Basic understanding of business processes applied in the insurance industry Social skills open minded, communicative, motivated and self-dependent, responsible The wrok is remote, requred visits in our office in Vienna once a two months and for on-boarding. As a Test Automation Architect, you will play a crucial role in the next phase of our Agile Transformation, aimed at delivering exceptional services to our customers and enhancing our system landscape. As a member of our Testing Tools team, you will be responsible for designing and developing our internal test automation platform. Your focus will be on providing and enabling testing solutions that empower our agile delivery teams to create efficient, high-quality test automation scripts across various testing domains, including functional, non-functional, and infrastructure testing. Additionally, you will support, coach, and train test engineers in the effective use of test automation tools and processes in their daily work.
