You Have

  • A BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Professional experience with one of the following programming languages: Typescript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go
  • 1+ year React or React Native development experience
  • Proficiency in an RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of basic architecture, systems design, and agile practices
  • Knowledge of A/B testing will be a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent English on B2 level or higher

About the Role:

The Growth Hacking team's mission is to accelerate customer and revenue growth across US and International markets. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be part of a cross-functional squad focussed on identifying and executing high-ROI opportunities that drive new customer acquisition, increase revenue, and boost retention. You will rapidly prototype solutions to customer problems, run A/B tests, and iterate with speed - all while ensuring your work meets Remitly's platform standards and long-term product vision.

You will report directly to the Engineering Manager, based in Poland.
