Senior Tech Support Engineer @ Fudo Security

Documented minimum of 6 years of experience in IT engineering, system administration or technical support, including: Unix/Linux System Administration (preferably FreeBSD) from the command line. Service Administration in Unix/Linux environments (web servers, applications, logs, etc.). Network Administration: IPv4 addressing, VLANs, routing and the OSI model. Diagnosing performance issues across systems, networks, and hardware. Experience in PostgreSQL Administration: Writing complex SQL queries. Correlating data from multiple tables. Analyzing database logs. Performing backups/restorations. Hardware Management: Handling hardware RAID, IPMI/BMC. Diagnosing/replacing server components. Shell scripting. Familiarity with security protocols and cryptography. Strong problem-solving skills. Curiosity, and a customer-focused mindset. Experience in working in a technical support environment. A passion for helping clients. Fluent Polish. Fluent English - essential for working with international clients. Nice to have: Experience in Windows Server Administration (Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, GPO, etc.). Knowledge of System and Network Security Best Practices. Knowledge of the ZFS file system. Experience with Backup & Data Recovery Solutions. Familiarity with Python. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence environments. Knowledge of Git version control system. Familiarity with SCRUM, ITIL methodologies. Awareness of IT security issues. Proficiency in German or a CIS regional language, such as Ukrainian or Russian. For the training-focused role: Experience in developing and delivering technical training materials, workshops, or certification programs.
