DevOps Software Engineer GenAI @

Who you are:

• Proficient in AWS or Azure services, including serverless computing, scalability, and integrations
• Experienced in practical applications of GenAI and AI frameworks (e.g. Langflow, Langchain, Langsmith), with knowledge of LLM performance and adaptation
• Skilled in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Github Actions, Jenkins), with proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
• Familiar with AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog)
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, curiosity, responsibility, effective communication in English, and an innovative mindset.

The Position

DevOps Software Engineer (GenAI)

In line with our Roche Group AI Strategy and our 10-Year Ambition to "Transform our business with data & digital solutions," we are developing AI capabilities across all levels of the organisation — from EverydayAI, which enhances individual productivity, to Reshape initiatives, which reimagine business processes, to Big Ideas, which push the boundaries of what's possible in healthcare. 

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer eager to develop and implement AI-powered solutions within Roche's technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in software development, a willingness to upskill in AI and Generative AI technologies, and the ability to integrate large language models (LLMs) into applications and software development processes (testing, refactoring, requirements management, deployment).

At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. The specific office days may vary depending on business needs, such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings, and other collaborative events.

Example projects you may work on:

• Leading teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions for Pharma Development IT, incorporating AI-driven optimizations.
• Driving AI-driven automation in DevOps pipelines to accelerate software delivery, improve security, and ensure compliance.
• Designing and implementing key automation and infrastructure solutions to optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Experimenting with Generative AI to explore new possibilities in software development, automation, and innovation.

What you get:

• Salary range 15,000 - 23,000 PLN gross based on the employment contract, depending on qualifications and expertise.
