You might be the perfect match if you have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist and/or Machine Learning Engineer.
  • Strong programming skills in Python with hands-on experience in modules like pandas and numpy, and expertise in writing machine learning algorithms.
  • Knowledge of statistical tests and their applications.
  • Experience with data visualization using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
  • Comfortable working in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience in Life Science R&D, including but not limited to biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or related fields.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Experience in life sciences (biopharmaceutical) organizations.
  • A PhD in a field related to genetics or biology.

Our biopharmaceutical British client is expanding its genomic data science capabilities to enable exploration of multi-vendor data, with the aim of providing insights into the genomic drivers of common diseases and facilitating the identification of novel therapeutic targets.

This role will ensure that you are working at the highest level of the scientific world, straight out of Cambridge.
