WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Expert-level knowledge of PHP (we use the latest stable version: PHP 8.3) - 4+ years of experience
  • A constant learner mindset – passionate about IT, actively acquiring new knowledge, and staying up to date with the latest advancements in the software industry
  • Strong sense of ownership – you'll deploy to production in your first week
  • Solid code organization skills – familiarity with concepts like SOLID, design patterns, Clean Code, Domain-Driven Design, etc.
  • Commitment to software development best practices, including Test-Driven Development, Trunk-Based Development/Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment, as well as Agile, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Experience working with frameworks (we’re using Laravel 10)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1) and Polish (C2)
  • Open-minded and adaptable – ready to challenge and evolve outdated practices
  • High engagement with projects – willing to push back on unrealistic ideas and demand excellence from yourself and others
  • Desirable: Leadership experience

Your typical week will consist of:

  • 70% - coding
  • 10% - code reviews
  • 20% - meetings (standups, project kick-offs, retros, dev meetings)

Our tech stack:

Backend: PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis

Frontend: Vue, Vite, Tailwind, Twig, SCSS, Jest, Puppeteer

Infrastructure: Docker, Terraform, CI/CD using GitHub Actions, CDN in Fastly, Nginx, Elasticsearch + Fluentd + Kibana + Grafana stack for monitoring, AWS
