What we expect
  • BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in technical team leadership
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring (must-have)
  • 5+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks — React is a must
  • Proven experience in microservices architecture & decomposing monoliths (must-have)
  •  Knowledge of Angular is particularly important when working on the monolithic part of the system.
  • Good understanding of functional programming and Java Streams
  • Experience with reactive UIs (Reactive JS)
  • 2+ years of experience with TDD/BDD: JUnit, Jasmine, Mockito, Protractor/Selenium
  • Solid knowledge of cloud/hybrid deployments, Kubernetes, containers
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins and CI/CD processes
  • Exposure to Kotlin is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English (written & spoken)
 
 Nice to have
  • Experience in remote XP environments
  • Familiarity with design concepts like service discovery, circuit breaker, etc.
  • Ownership mindset and ability to drive delivery in fast-paced environments

We're looking for a hands-on Full Stack Java Developer (Tech Lead) to join an international team working on the transformation of a large-scale, monolithic system into a modular microservices-based architecture.

You'll be working in an Extreme Programming (XP) environment with remote pair programming, where quality, collaboration and knowledge sharing are at the core of everyday work. This is a lead role with both technical ownership and team leadership responsibilities.
