Data Operations Engineer @ Asana

Experience in IT operations or a related technical field. Proficient in SQL. Knowledge of a modern programming language would be a plus. Familiar with deployment operations and CI/CD processes. Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail for process documentation. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven track record of effective prioritisation of user requests effectively, focussing on business value. Proactive self-starter with a proven ability to identify opportunities and execute them effectively. Familiar with cloud-based data processing and storage technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, AWS S3, Spark, Airflow Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making. As part of the Enterprise Data & Intelligence (EDI) team, you will play a key role in enabling company-wide data-informed decision making. Business and Product teams rely on our data assets to analyze and optimize user adoption, growth, and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of technical and collaboration skills. They should be able to quickly understand business priorities and proactively develop and enhance tools and automations that support those priorities. This role is based in our brand new Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you'll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
