Role Overview – DevOps Lead

We’re hiring a DevOps Lead to own and drive our platform operations, CI/CD strategy, and infrastructure scaling in Azure. In this role, you’ll lead a small DevOps team, shape best practices, and ensure high reliability, security, and automation across environments. You will collaborate closely with engineering leadership, enabling faster delivery and long-term platform resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing
  • Define and drive strategy for Azure infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Oversee release management and ensure smooth, reliable deployments
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and proactive incident response processes
  • Champion security and compliance (DevSecOps practices) across the platform
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align DevOps practices with business goals

Requirements:

  • 6+ years in DevOps or platform engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead/mentorship role
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Azure cloud services and infrastructure management
  • Proven experience designing and improving CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Strong Infra-as-Code skills (Terraform, Bicep) and scripting experience
  • Solid understanding of system reliability, observability, and security principles
