Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and Django 
  • Advanced knowledge of Docker and daily hands-on experience 
  • Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and core services 
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI) 
  • Knowledge of Sentry for monitoring and debugging 
  • Problem-solving mindset, ability to work both independently and within a team 
  • Fluent spoken and written English 

Nice to Have:

  • SQL proficiency for debugging and performance optimization 
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases 
  • Hands on experience with DBT 
  • Experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment and debugging 
  • Hands-on experience with using and managing a data warehouse like Amazon Redshift 
  • Experience in building data pipelines with Airflow (MWAA would be a plus) 
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as ECS, IAM, and Secret Management 
  • Experience with AWS DMS, or other data migration or CDC services 
  • Understanding of Kubernetes networking, security, and upgrade procedures 
  • Familiarity with the modern JavaScript ecosystem and frameworks 
  • Familiarity with JIRA for project management
