Senior Data Architect @

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering/analytics engineering, including at least 2 years in a Data Architect role.
• Expert-level SQL skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Python, Spark, Databricks, Azure, dbt (and willingness to work with internal frameworks).
• Strong track record of designing and implementing data warehouses, ideally modern big data warehouses or lakehouse architectures.
• Hands-on experience with star schema modeling and practical understanding of Kimball methodology.
• Deep understanding of medallion architecture.
• Proven experience delivering Big Data and Analytics solutions in production environments.
• Solid grasp of modern Data & Analytics technologies and architectural patterns.
• Expertise in optimizing Big Data queries, ETL processes, storage solutions, and partitioning strategies for high-performance analytics.
• Familiarity with Parquet format, Delta Lake (ACID transactions, versioning, storage optimization, data integrity).
• Strong understanding of the full lifecycle of analytical data products.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Experience with CI/CD and Git (preferably GitLab).
• Fluency in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BI tools (Power BI / Tableau).
• Knowledge of Unity Catalog in Databricks for centralized data governance.
• Skills in defining and managing data quality frameworks, metadata management, and cataloging.
• Expertise in RBAC (role-based access control) and data encryption for GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to present complex concepts and technical solutions to diverse audiences.
