We are looking for an experienced Manager of Methods to join our manufacturing plant in Přehýšov, who will play a key role in implementing new projects, optimizing production processes and leading a team of technologists. If you have a technical mindset, experience in a manufacturing environment and a desire to push things forward, we would love to meet you

At our Wabtec plant in Přehýšov (Nýřany - Plzeň - north), we manufacture air conditioning units for rail vehicles. We are leaders in our field. We do not engage in mass production. We fulfill the specific wishes of our customers. Every year, we manufacture more than 4,500 air conditioning units, which are shipped all over the world. Our customers include companies such as Siemens, Hyundai Rotem, Alstom, Škoda, Stadler, and many others. For 20 years, we have been a stable employer with secure orders for several years in advance. 

How will you make a difference?
  • leading a team of technologists and organizing the work in the assigned department
  • preparing and optimizing serial production, managing production tools and technologies
  • supervising compliance with technological processes and production standards (5S, HSE, ISO)
  • managing projects from sampling to serial production
  • analyzing production losses, making suggestions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • cooperating in the selection, training and development of new employees
  • communicating across departments and regularly reporting results
What do we need to know about you?
  • High school/university education in the field of electrical/machinery
  • min. 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • knowledge of lean production principles (Lean), FMEA, REFA an advantage
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
  • user knowledge of PC work
  • responsibility, diligence, ability to make independent decisions
  • active knowledge of English or German
