Job Description:

Responsible for developing production/supply plans that take into account forecasts, availability of material and manufacturing capacity. Is responsible for identifying and maintaining the appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans. May also be responsible for providing materials to manufacturing areas based on planned production schedules and for the appropriate shipping of finished goods to various distribution centers utilizing material handling equipment in support of management policies for customer delivery and inventory levels. Includes planners and inventory control roles.

• Preparing Purchase orders (managing, submitting, sending, confirming, transport to the plant, bringing to a close), etc., according to MRP needs and SOP regulations,
• Purchase of common articles, indirect material, purchase with cash payment on account of approved requirements,
• Purchase order optimizing according to requests for inventory reduction, transport costs and other company indicators,
• Planning production according to capacity, material availability, communication with different department for smooth production plan flow
• Regular monthly proposals for logistics savings (transport optimizing, transport of new articles, quotation feedback, etc.),
• Sending of forecast (expected expenditure) according to requests by suppliers and purchase,
• Inventory management in co-operation with the planning department, management of surpluses, unnecessary or discrepant inventory sale,
• Complaints – logistics of supplies in co-operation with QA,
• Requirement for contractual transporters for items with contractual conditions,
• Responsibility for preparation of items such as intercompany entry into the system and all other resulting obligations, price, amount, lot, transport, office work, etc..),
• Resolving quantity deviations in invoices with suppliers according to the rule,
• Feedback for Strategic Purchase, daily analysis of possible risks (evaluation of new suppliers, deliveries, meeting contractual conditions, evaluation of suppliers from the logistics point of view),
• Archiving required data and materials,
• Preparation and communication in case of requested co-operation,
• Fulfilling operational tasks according to the supervisor's assignment,
• Fulfilling operational tasks resulting from the job title,
• Co-operation on ISO logistics documentation creation and update,
• Administrative support of inventory stock-taking.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in similar role is an advantage ( material planning, inventory management, or purchasing)
• Fluency in Czech and English
• Ability to work predominantly onsite in Jičín
• Very good communication skills
• Experience with Oracle or SAP is an advantage
• Able to work effectively and efficiently in dynamic environments with shifting priorities, tight deadlines
• This role is a maternity cover
