Sr Financial Analyst

Summary:  The Senior FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in promoting and protecting values for Cattron by bringing insight to decisions, and clarity to forecasts and reports through preparation of  focused complex analyses and financial, statistical, and analytical studies and research. Provides consultative, technical, and staff support to decision-making functions. Prepares concise, accurate and complete reports and effectively communicates complex concepts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Support

· Deliver regular commercial performance reports (e.g., sales trends, customer profitability, product mix).

· Support financial modeling for new business opportunities, contracts, and strategic partnerships.

· Act as a finance support to European commercial team's pricing strategies and margin improvement.

Executive-Level Reporting & Presentations

· Prepare and present financial results and forecasts to European management team and senior leadership.

· Design and deliver regular or ad-hoc financial reporting based on business requirements.

· Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

· Work with European team to prepare annual budgets, forecasts, financial models and investment analyses with supporting assumptions and interpretation.

· Develop tools and models to support preparation of forecasts and plans for financial decision making.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with sales and operational goals.

Operational Performance Monitoring

· Track KPIs. Analyze COGS,  SG&A actuals against budget and prior year, analyze production variances and inventory balance trends.

· Partner with European operations to identify working capital improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

· Prepare Capex planning & evaluations, feasibility studies and business case calculations.

· Coordinate and support the development and implementation of special projects related to specific goals and directives.

Data & Systems Management, Process Improvement

· Partner with IT department to enhance using current ERP system and BI & AI tools supporting accounting and reporting functions.

· Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial and operational systems.

· Drive improvements in FP&A processes and forecast accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS

· Exceptional analytical skills and experience of financial analytical techniques: Ability to develop and prepare financial analyses and plans.

· Ability to process data and to format and generate reports, which distill information from data for our partners, through clear and concise communications (written,numeric or presentational).

· Knowledge and appreciation of business concepts and requirements as applicable to a global manufacturing company.

· Ability to interact with senior /middle management and different cultures in an international environment.

· Advance Excel skills. Knowledge and practical use of Excel Macros is an advantage.

· Advanced Power Point skills.

· Knowledge and practical use of Artificial Inteligence tools to support accounting and reporting functions (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, , AccountsIQ, etc.).

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field. 

· Five years relevant financial and analytical experience in manufacturing company.

· Big 4 experience in an advantage.
