THE ROLE

We are seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications using Java and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and performant solutions that align with our organizational standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and implement innovative features and technologies that drive high-performance, reliable virtualization integrations.
• Own and deliver FlashArray virtualization plugins end-to-end, from initial concept through to production release.
• Analyze and solve complex challenges across virtualization platforms with a focus on simplicity and scalability.
• Collaborate with talented peers, contributing to and drawing inspiration from a highly skilled, team-oriented environment.
• Delight customers by enabling seamless FlashArray integration into their virtualization environments.
• Continuously learn and grow, whether building on existing knowledge or gaining new expertise in virtualization, storage, or system software.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience across all phases of the software product lifecycle (concept, product definition, MVP, launch, mature product support)
• Proficiency in Java, with openness to work/learn Go, Python, and/or C++.
• Background in enterprise environments, cloud platforms, or large-scale deployments, with knowledge of embedded programming or storage systems as a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to share ideas effectively across teams and roles.
• A natural curiosity, design sensibility, and enthusiasm for working in an open, team-oriented environment.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
