Job Description:

HPE is recognized for its industry leading HPE Partner Ready program for years – and our ambition is to maintain this leadership role by constant evolution of our new HPE Partner Ready Vantage channel program based on the market developments & needs - aligned to the HPE channel strategy.

The HPE WW Partner Programs manager is responsible for leading the development, readiness and deployment of WW channel programs with the EMEA geos – in close collaboration and engagement with the geo channel management and sales teams, and the various ww functions under the premise to drive an outstanding partner experience.  

The role requires frequent collaboration with multiple geo leadership, finance, sales and operational functions – often requiring the ability to effectively manage and lead across organizations, as well role offers close collaboration with GBU in case of new product launches and to drive specific incentives and outcomes.

The EMEA Partner Programs manager reports to the Director of HPE WW Partner Programs geo engagement & readiness, closely collaborating with other members of the team.

How you will make your mark:

  • Provide thought leadership & strategic advice to support & influence WW channel strategy initiatives, as well as development & evolution of existing programs.

  • Representing geos specific market needs to enrich program development decisions with business rationale, competitive and market intelligence, ensuring global program standards, collecting & sharing best practices across the EMEA geos.

  • Lead HPE Partner Ready Vantage program deployment in geos by supporting local geo channel teams & supporting functions to progress against plan, effectively communicating and resolving roadblocks, ensuring a global standard program execution based on common guidelines, processes and tools.

  • Ensure smooth yearly program readiness, implementation, setup, compliancy management and where necessary – exception management to ensure predictability and compliance with planned contra budget in close alignment with geo teams.

  • Supports & coordinates readiness, deployment, training, and change management of key global initiatives in geos to build a world class, high performing sales organization, as well as further strengthen the value proposition for our channel that ensures HPE continues to have the best channel program in the industry.

  • Active involvement in geo review meetings and regular engagement with the geo teams, ensuring tracking of program and sales best practices and proactively sharing across the geo teams.

About you:

  • Typically 5-10 years of experience as Channel Planning, Marketing, Strategy or Operations expert in a global company responsible for planning / business development and operational efficiency.

  • Ability to translate strategy into execution. Experience developing business strategy and translating business plan strategies into successful operational plans and driving execution

  • Analytical thinking and strong business acumen, attention to details and focus

  • Demonstrated experience in cross-organizational collaboration, relationship building, ability to convince and influence

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English with a 2nd language being an advantage. 

  • Achieved planned financial results within a channel business at a region/area, business segment, or industry level.

  • Advanced University Degree or MBA highly desired.
