About the team

We are currently looking for the skilled Manual Tester who wants to have an impact with his/her work and join our ZF Aftermarket digital products team in our existing office in Plzen. The team is working to deliver our ZF Bus Connect product ) and is focused on extending the value of this connected vehicle solution through a deeply collaborative effort between product, UX, data and engineering members. The team is leveraging the company's existing knowledge and access to data of multiple thousands of buses to increase efficiency and convenience in managing the uptime of such vehicles. This is a unique opportunity to have an early and significant impact on shaping both, the new engineering organization and product while having the security of being part of one of the world's largest automotive suppliers.

Job Description

What can you look forward to as Manual Tester Hardware/Firmware?:

•Ensure high quality of firmware releases before they get released to production

•Design and implement both manual and automated test cases, execute them and document test results

•Co-operate with the development and product team to align on priorities, principles and project needs in the framework of our agile development methodology (scrum)

Your profile as Manual Tester Hardware/Firmware:

•University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar

•3-5 years experience as a software tester

•Testing Expertise in embedded systems on Linux platform.

•Experience with test automation on a HiL platform

•Test Management (Experience with JIRA or Azure DevOps for bug reporting & tracking, writing & managing test cases in TestRail or analogs).

•Knowledge of Python or another programming language.

•Experienced in working in agile environments (Scrum)

•Growth mindset combined with curiosity and solution orientation and strong drive to deliver

•Very good communication and collaboration skills
