What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a General Ledger Accountant within our CCS division. This position falls under our Finance & Accounting line of business and is located in Prague. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely month-end close processes for EUF companies, while maintaining compliance with both local and international accounting standards. You will report directly to GL Team Leader and regularly collaborate with the Finance, Shared Services, and Internal Audit teams.

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a General Ledger Accountant within our CCS division. This position falls under our Finance & Accounting line of business and is located in Prague. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely month-end close processes for EUF companies, while maintaining compliance with both local and international accounting standards. You will report directly to GL Team Leader and regularly collaborate with the Finance, Shared Services, and Internal Audit teams.

Role Responsibilities

• Reconciling bank accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Posting month-end accounting journals in a timely manner
• Posting corporate cost recharges to other entities within the FLEETCOR group
• Reconciling intercompany charges and resolving discrepancies
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations in line with reporting timelines
• Addressing and clearing reconciling items within the quarter
• Supporting internal and external audit queries
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Participating in business continuity planning and risk management initiatives
• Contributing to continuous improvement efforts for processes and systems
• Ensuring compliance with local & US GAAP/IFRS standards in all financial reporting

Qualifications & Skills

• 2 + years of experience in financial accounting or general ledger accounting in Czech company

Advanced level of Czech language

• Knowledge of local & US GAAP/IFRS standards
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively across teams and functions
• Experience with intercompany accounting and VAT preparation is preferred
• Previous experience in a shared services environment is a plus
