Senior Data Analyst – Pricing

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SQL, data modelling, and architecture to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will play a key role in analysing complex datasets, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering impactful solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, understanding business requirements, and translating them into actionable insights. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets
• Build and maintain robust data models and architectures to support data analysis and reporting needs in Snowflake
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all deliverables, implementing robust quality monitoring processes and controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Document technical processes, data workflows, and analysis methodologies to ensure transparency and scalability
• Implement and manage data models, security protocols, and governance frameworks in alignment with best practices
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing recommendations based on data trends and insights
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of data literacy across the organization.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Proven experience in SQL programming and database management, ideally in cloud-based environment like Snowflake
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, architecture, and best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms and big data tools is desirable
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on business analysis
• Familiarity with front-end tools like Power BI or equivalent (nice to have)
• Understanding of advanced statistical methods and machine learning concepts is plus
• Experience with training and creating AI chatbots for insights and analytics is big plus
• Basic proficiency in Python for scripting and analysis
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively
• Passion for teamwork, delivering great customer experiences, and continuous learning
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written) for effective communication across global teams and stakeholders
• Experience with agile practices and supporting adoption of analytics products through communication and training strategies is a plus.
