We are looking for a new colleague to join our EMEA Communications Team for PPG's Architectural Coatings Business. As Communications Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing dedicated areas of communications – from boosting business performance through our intranet content, creating regional employee communication, organizing events, managing projects across geographies, to advising the company stakeholders on all things comms

Main accountabilities:

Under the supervision of the Head of Communications, EMEA Architectural Coatings, you will support the execution of PPG's communications, including:

  • Creating ways to improve and align our communications channels
  • Preparing content for internal and external channels (e-mails, newsletters, intranet news, social media, press releases, etc.)
  • Proposing and organizing internal campaigns and key events, such as Town Halls
  • Supporting and/or leading communications projects on dedicated topics across the EMEA countries
  • Acting as a dedicated business partner for employee communication on people topics in the region, including ownership of our communication channels for line managers and our regional intranet
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the functions and regions, proposing the appropriate communication channels, and managing e-mail distribution to relevant audiences
  • Building authentic, engaging communications, promoting a culture of "One PPG", and ensuring consistent messaging and tone
  • Working with teams and stakeholders across the EMEA region to enable the timely sharing of critical information regarding the business-critical projects and priorities

We think you'll be a good fit if:

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English. Any other language is a plus.
  • You are experienced in creating varied communications, using a range of tools and channels (experience with SharePoint is a plus)
  • Consider yourself a creative thinker and innovator who wants to disrupt the norms
  • You love your profession and feel passionate about helping organizations communicate their objectives and bringing employees on board
  • You have a strong business acumen and a desire to understand the realities of business
  • You are positive, honest, open to learning, and have a can-do attitude
  • You are able to work independently, without daily oversight, make decisions, and build strong relationships
  • Are able to manage multiple projects at once and execute time-sensitive tasks to their deadlines (or renegotiate their terms before the deadline)
  • Knowledge of any design software is a big plus (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, etc.)
