This Position reports to:

Product Marketing Team Manager

Join the ABB Brno team and help create smart solutions for reliable and safe distribution of electricity. We are looking for a new colleague for the position of Tender/Quotation Specialist for the ABB MV Switchgear division.

In this position, you will process technical and commercial offer according to the customers' requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and discussing technical solutions and conditions in line with customer requirements.

  • Preparing technical and commercial proposals based on tender specifications, utilizing product configurators.

  • Refining and clarifying offers to ensure they meet the required level of detail for order processing.

  • Collaborating with R&D and other factory stakeholders to develop comprehensive and complex proposals tailored to the needs of demanding customers.

  • Contributing to the development of short-term and long-term plans and business strategies in coordination with the Area Sales Manager.

  • Participating in the handover process ( kick-off meeting ) in the factory or abroad (business trip).

Qualifications:

  • Secondary or university education in electrical engineering (specialization in high-current electrical engineering is an advantage)

  • Communicative level of English (knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage)

  • Knowledge of Czech or Slovak is an advantage

  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a collaborative team spirit

  • Previous experience in a similar position is a significant advantage
