Senior Finance Master Data Specialist

Core Responsibilities

• Govern and maintain accounting and financial master data in SAP, such as Chart of Accounts, cost center and profit center, intercompany vendors and customers set up.
• Participate in the ERP transformation to SAP S/4HANA, including testing and implementing new processes and system functionalities.
• Ensure consistent adherence to company guidelines and policies.
• Support the improvement, standardization, automation, and maintenance of end-to-end processes related to financial master data.
• Build and strengthen stakeholder relationships across functions and geographies, including collaboration with Financial Business Controllers, Treasury, CRBC, Tax, Group Reporting, and General Ledger teams.

This position is based in Prague – Jinonice, and relocation assistance is not offered for this role.

The LEGO Business Service Operations (BSO) is a shared service center delivering HR and Finance services to the entire LEGO Group from Monterrey, Prague, and Singapore.

The General Ledger (GL) department collaborates with a wide range of LEGO teams and plays an essential role in supporting the entire LEGO Group globally. The new Financial Master Data team will be responsible for maintaining key master data in our core systems, including SAP and Blackline, and for supporting colleagues across BSO and the business.

Do you have what it takes?

• Proven experience working with financial master data
• Experience with SAP FI & CO modules
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Ability to independently resolve moderate to complex issues and provide guidance on master data -related matters.
• Preferably, proven experience in an international finance environment.
• Strong Excel skills.

What would be an advantage?

• Experience with Blackline and Power BI.
• Experience working in shared service centers or matrix organizations.
