DevOps Engineer – BI Data Team

We're looking for a new DevOps Engineer to join our BI Data Team – the crew behind the smooth operation of our business intelligence platforms and tools. From installing clusters, expanding hardware, and implementing new software, to maintaining, securing, and monitoring our environments – we make sure everything runs like clockwork.
You'll work with a variety of tools and technologies, mainly on Linux-based physical and virtual servers, with the help of configuration management tools to make life easier. Our business partners are based in HQ in Prague and across our global locations – India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The team is split between Prague and Brno.
Your future role
- Maintain and support Linux platforms, configuration management, automation, development, and monitoring
- Use code (not manual steps) to manage infrastructure – automation is key
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, virtualization technologies, and containers
- Contribute to design and automation improvements for production and non-production environments
- Take part in projects when opportunities arise
Your experience and skills
- Solid Linux knowledge
- Good understanding of at least one configuration tool
- Basic scripting skills in Python & Bash
- Experience with GitLab & CI/CD pipelines
- Basic knowledge of monitoring tools
- Problem-solving mindset and collaborative spirit
- Eagerness to learn and grow
What will help you stand out
- Previous experience as a Linux Administrator / DevOps Engineer
- Ansible configuration management skills
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Red Hat certifications (RHCSA / RHCE) or similar
