Cyber Security Engineer

We're on the lookout for a motivated Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen our Security Operations team. In this role, you'll be hands-on with our SIEM and SOAR platforms, helping us continuously improve our security posture by delivering smart integrations, playbooks, and automations.

What you'll do:

• Maintain and update QRadar rules and configurations based on SOC L3 analytics input.
• Improve and maintain existing D3 SOAR playbooks, and develop new automation playbooks as needed.
• Create and maintain Python scripts to integrate QRadar, D3, Qualys, and other tools.
• Monitor and ensure the health and uptime of QRadar and D3 systems.
• Document scripts, configurations, and playbook logic in a clear, maintainable format.
• Suggest and implement automation for reporting, enrichment, or other repetitive tasks.
• Track work and collaborate with the team via Jira.

What we're looking for:

• Experience with SIEM tools (ideally IBM QRadar).
• Exposure to SOAR platforms (preferably D3 Security).
• Solid Python scripting skills for integrations and automation.
• Familiarity with Git and SSH for collaboration and system management.
• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS) and common cyber threats.
• Ability to work with log formats, correlation logic, and security data.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent Czech/Slovak and English
• Bonus points for experience with Bash, PowerShell, PL/SQL, Java, or C#.
