At our Siemens Foundational Technologies R&D Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.

We are a team working to develop a new generation of low voltage switchgear. Low voltage switchgear such as soft starters, monitoring and safety relays and more can be found in industry and modern buildings. We work on innovative solutions for industrial communications and their integration into new and existing products. The challenge of today is how to get data from the field safely into the cloud. Your task will be:

  • Leading development team from managerial and technical perspective
  • Embedded software development in C and C++ on ARM platform
  • Clarification of requirements and development of unit tests
  • Designing solutions in collaboration with the architect and product manager
  • Debugging and fixing existing code
  • Creating documentation
  • Collaboration in an international agile team

What we will appreciate from you:

  • University education or adequate experience in the field
  • Experience or prerequisites for leading an R&D team
  • Knowledge of C and/or C++
  • Experience with development and debugging on embedded platforms
  • Knowledge of code quality assurance principles
  • Experience with the GIT versioning systems
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as OPC-UA, PROFINET etc. is an advantage
