About the role

We're looking for a Cloud and FinOps Engineer who can connect engineering, finance, and business stakeholders, turning data into decisions and driving smart, cost-efficient cloud operations.

What you'll be doing:
As part of a specialised Cloud Management team, you'll take ownership of strategies that make cloud usage efficient, transparent, and sustainable.
  • Design and implement cost-saving strategies, working with cloud engineers, finance teams, and business owners.
  • Collect and analyse data on costs, asset inventories, monitoring, and even carbon emissions, automating processes wherever possible.
  • Provide expert advice on cost management and resolve data issues for IT and business stakeholders.
  • Create and promote Azure best practices for cost control and performance optimisation.
  • Set up budget tracking, usage alerts, and automated remediation for unused or oversized resources.
  • Lead technical discussions with internal teams and partners to drive smart cloud economics.
  • Build powerful dashboards and reports that give decision-makers the insights they need.


What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 2–5 years in cloud management, FinOps, or a finance role with strong IT exposure.
  • Education: Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
  • Skills: Ability to turn complex technical and financial data into clear, actionable reports.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is an advantage.
  • A self-driven problem-solver who thrives in a fast-moving environment and loves learning.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
  • Open to occasional travel (up to 20%).
