Who are we looking for

We're looking for a QA Engineer who is attentive to detail, curious about how complex systems work, and comfortable collaborating with developers, analysts, and product teams. You will help ensure quality across web applications.

General obligations:

  • Manual testing: Execute functional, regression, exploratory, and smoke testing for web applications.
  • Test documentation: Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and test reports.
  • API testing: Validate APIs using Postman and Swagger, verify payloads, error handling, and edge cases.
  • UI/UX collaboration: Work with designs in Figma, validate implementation accuracy, and report inconsistencies.
  • Bug reporting: Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects; verify fixes and perform re-testing.
  • Requirements & acceptance criteria: Participate in the planning phase by reviewing requirements and acceptance criteria, asking clarifying questions, and ensuring test coverage is aligned with expected behavior.
  • Cross-team communication: Collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve product quality.

Must have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
  • Experience testing Web applications.
  • Working knowledge of Postman and Swagger.
  • Experience working with Figma.
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Solid understanding of QA processes, best practices, testing techniques, and methodologies.
  • Experience with CI tools.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • English: Intermediate level or higher.

Will be a plus:

  • Experience working with SQL / PostgreSQL.
  • Working knowledge of automated testing (understanding basics, ability to maintain/extend simple tests is a plus).
  • Experience working in an AWS-based environment.
