NPD/ R&D Project Manager

We are now looking for an experienced New Product Development (NPD) and R&D Project Manager to lead the development of meat snacks — from concept to launch — while ensuring that all stages of production meet internal quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with R&D, production, procurement, marketing, and external partners. A key part of the role will be maintaining strict quality control at every stage — from raw material selection to the final product.

Reporting to: Advisor of CEO / Head of Sales and Marketing

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage new product development projects in the meat snacks category: planning, timelines, responsibilities, and stage control.
• Generate and evaluate new product ideas, organize tastings, and analyze market and category trends in meat snacks.
• Oversee the full implementation process — from trial runs to full-scale production.
• Collaborate with technologists and production teams to ensure quality at every stage — from sourcing raw materials, spices, and ingredients to packaging.
• Ensure compliance of products with internal quality standards and customer specifications (including organoleptics, composition, safety, and recipe stability).
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, recipes, and specifications.
• Participate in weekly production checks and new batch launches.
• Identify and implement innovations in ingredients, processing, and packaging.
• Support the team in sourcing new ingredient suppliers.
• Oversee internal organoleptic testing of trial products and review customer feedback to implement corrective actions.
• Be flexible with working hours during product launches and other key stages.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in new product development and quality management, preferably in the meat or snack industry.
• Strong understanding of food production processes, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
